pandalicious's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Garbage Pail Kids, Ahh the Irony Yay! A new monitor!!! It's huge-a-licious. Not 21 inches, but 19 and it was a great deal. I think it was $249. Some dude in the paper was selling used 21 inchers for $399 but he seemed too anxious to get rid of them. I think they were stolen. Something just wasn't adding up. He said that a company had used them for about 6 months and then they'd been in storage for about a year and he's just NOW selling them. Uh huh. He's really agressive too, he called several times demanding to know what I was going to do if I didn't buy from him. He acted like I don't know anything about monitors or their prices. He's an ass. You know who else is an ass? Yup, Mike. The funniest thing, though. Yesterday I went to some garage sales with Mom n Pop. I found a bunch of Garbage Pail Kids stickers at this one sale. RAWK!!! Anyway, there happened to be one named Live Mike which is a heavy metal GPK being electrocuted or whatever. Check out the flip side to the card. This is the honest to God truth, I kid you not... this is what is on the reverse of the Live Mike card :: Rudeness Award Awarded to : ____________ For thoughtlessness and selfishness above and beyond the call of duty. In 1 month's time you have successfully hurt 614 feelings, broken 27 friendships, forgotten 18 important dates (including your great grandmother's funeral) and managed to alienate a half dozen total strangers.
