pandalicious's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The B and the E, the A, N, I, E. The Original Beanie Babies! I bought myself a cheering up present at lunch today. Two things, actually. Little toys. One is a panda and the other a lion. They are both so cute. They're made by Ty, the Beanie Baby people. Look, no matter what your opinion of Beanie Babies is, you cannot deny that they are right good dancers. Stornry good. Steven and I made the sad mistake of Beanies as both a fun hobby slash investment combo. There are some cute ones. And we enjoyed the time spent together. It gave us time to catch up on the day to day stuff. A great lunch hour activity. We ended up out front of a Kroger to liquidate our Beanies and to have a raffle for the humane society. This was pretty successful, although slow. This was when people weren't yet tired of them. We sold quite a few. In between customers, our Beanies had their own talent show. As everything is just as happy as can be in Beanieland, every act, no matter how utterly horrible in reality was highly regarded and celebrated by equal amounts of excitement by the Beanie audience. Yes, this is a case of I GUESS YOU HAD TO BE THERE. That's what I love about Steven. Here we are, grown up kids, trying to peddle our wares, putting on a SINGING and DANCING talent show with our products!!!!! And we don't even care about what anyone thinks.
